Born on March 18, 1993, Yaya, also known as Urassaya Sperbund, is a model and actress from Thailand. Among the many honours she has received are two Suphannahong National Film Awards, three Mekhala Awards, a Maya Award, and a TV Gold Award.
Early Life And Career
On March 18, 1993, Sperbund was born in Pattaya. Sigurd, her Norwegian father, was a stockbroker. Thai-born mother Urai raised her daughter at home.Cattreya is her older sister. Sperbund went to Bangkok Patana School after attending Regent's International School Pattaya from 2009 to 2009. She received her Spanish language Faculty of Arts degree from Chulalongkorn University in 2015. At thirteen years old, Sperbund completed her first modelling job after getting noticed at Chatuchak Park. A casting director had invited her to feature in advertisements for Genie Young Care Cologne, but she had to back out because of travel issues. Eventually, once Sombatsara Teerasaroch approached her, she went back to modelling. The family moved to Bangkok in order to support Sperbund's entry into the entertainment business. She soon began participating in picture sessions and made appearances in Mr. D and C-Quint's music videos.
In 2008, Sperbund made her TV debut as a co-star in the sitcom Peun See Long Hon on Channel 3. She featured in Kularb Rai Narm (2010) with Laila Boonyasak and Atshar Nampan. She starred in Duang Jai Akkanee that same year, which was based on Sorn Klin's 2009 novel of the same name. She won the Siamdara Stars Awards for Best Rising Star and the Top Awards for being a hugely popular drama in Thailand. She tried out for the main part in Atthaporn Teemakorn's Tawan Dueat in 2011; Prin Suparat was her co-star. She was a nominee for Best Actress at the 3rd Nataraja Award, but Araya A. Hargate won for Dok Som See Thong.
Personal Life
In 2010, Sperbund got to know Thai actor Nadech Kugimiya while shooting Duang Jai Akkanee. Although the couple declined to discuss their relationship in public, their connection was the subject of several rumours and media reports. During an interview with The Standard Pop in November 2022, Sperbund stated, "We haven't really asked each other to be boyfriend and girlfriend." "When should we count as our day one?" we asked each other. Furthermore, I believe that happened while Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong was being filmed." Their engagement took place in June 2023.
