Boity, whose real name is Boitumelo Thulo, was born on April 28, 1990, in South Africa. She is a model, rapper, actor, businesswoman, and television personality. Because of her work in the music and entertainment industry, Thulo was recognised as one of Forbes Africa's 30 Under 30 in 2019.
With the release of her first single, "Wuz Dat?" with Nasty C in 2018, she shot to fame. She released her EP 4436 in 2020 after inking a record contract with Def Jam Africa. At the 27th South African Music Awards, the EP was a nominee for Best Hip Hop Album.
Early Life And career
Thulo was reared by her maternal grandmother in Potchefstroom, North West, after her birth. Her mother, Modiehi Thulo, is her only child. Thulo attended Monash University to study psychology and criminology, but she subsequently left school since her mother couldn't afford her varsity tuition. After that, she joined a casting agency, which led to her 2010 appearance in a Wimpy ad.

The television career of Thulo started in 2011 when she hosted the educational show "Crib Notes" on YOTV. Following that, she co-hosted the SABC 1 The Media Career Guide Show with Thomani Mahlaba. In addition, she hosted a number of television programmes, including Club 808; Zoned; Change Down; SkyRoom Live; and Ridiculousness Africa. Thulo made her TV debut as a lead actress in the drama series Rockville in 2012. She played "Mpho Bogatsu" in all four seasons. At the beginning of 2014, Thulo made her screen debut as "Betty" in the comedic short Dear Betty. She also starred in the 2016 movie Mrs. Right Guy, in the small character of "Marie".
Personal Life
Thulo and rapper Cassper Nyovest are said to be in an intermittent relationship. Thulo had dated Nyovest in the past. In December 2015, the couple called it quits on their engagement and dissolved their romance. Thulo was admitted to the hospital in October 2021 following an altercation with Bujy Bikwa.
