Born on February 21, 1999, Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, sometimes referred to as Win, is a Thai actor with Chinese ancestry. After making his acting debut in 2020, he became well-known and has since been acknowledged by the fashion and entertainment sectors. He is a brand ambassador for the premium Italian brand Prada at the moment and was selected for the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia class of 2023.
Early Life & Career
With two elder sisters, Mintra and Mesa, and one younger brother, Metas, Metawin is the third of four siblings to have been born in Bangkok, Thailand. The pets of Metawin's family are two Shetland Sheepdogs, Bentley and Cartier, and a female Chihuahua named Charlotte. He attended Denla Kindergarten School for his early schooling before continuing his primary education at Assumption College, a private Catholic boys school in Bangkok. He also took a short summer course at Assumption College Bangrak. After that, he continued his secondary school at Panyarat High School.
Before switching to an actor contract with GMMTV in 2019, Metawin began her career in the entertainment sector as a trainee actress under ONE31 for almost a year. His breakthrough performance as an actor and his starring part in 2gether: The Series are what made him well-known around the world. Vogue Magazine lists him as one of the 100 Influential People in the Thai Fashion Industry in his first year of work. Along with other influential people, successful businesses, and executives from a variety of industries, he is included in HOWE Magazine's "The 50 Influential People" issue.
Coca-Cola unveiled Metawin as the first ASEAN brand ambassador on July 31, 2023. The campaign and marketing platform, "A Recipe for Magic," is centred around encouraging people to have more meaningful mealtime times with one another. Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore will all be under Metawin's leadership during the campaign.
