JianHao Tan, a Singaporean YouTuber and the CEO of Titan Digital Media, was born on June 14, 1993. He has more than 6,220,000 YouTube subscribers and 659,000 Instagram followers as of May 16, 2023.
Early Life And Career
Hong Kong is where his mother Luwina Chong, a piano instructor, was born and reared. Tan and his family relocated to Cambodia when his father, Edmund, was assigned there by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when Tan was eight years old. After a few years, his family relocated to Hanoi, Vietnam, where he completed his education at the United Nations International School of Hanoi, earning his diploma in 2011.
In 2010 JianHao Tan and two buddies launched their YouTube channel as a side project and for academic credit. Then, starting when he was eighteen, he performed two years of National Service. Tan then made the decision to devote himself full-time to YouTube rather than continuing his degree at a university. Sometime in 2014, Ryan Tan of Night Owl Cinematics served as his tutor. By December of that same year, he had amassed over 250,000 YouTube followers.
In 2014, he made his first hiring thanks to a S$15,000 job to promote an application in his channel. He later established The JianHao Tan Co., a production studio. He was listed in the "Media, Marketing & Advertising" category of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2016.
Titan Digital Media is the new name for Tan's JianHao Tan production firm as of 2018. Tan collaborated with other various YouTube celebrities to launch the T1T5 web series, which served as an antecedent to the Titan Academy and consisted of short comedy situational skits and roleplaying videos.[Reference required] In addition, he began co-hosting the Playtime TV YouTube channel for kids, alongside Cindy, who is seven years old.
Personal Life
On May 21, 2019, Tan wed Debbie Soon Rui Yi following a three-year courtship. On September 19, 2019, Starley, their daughter, was born. In 2015, Tan established The JianHao Tan Foundation. By 2019, Thuy An Village, Vietnam has received food and gifts valued at over $5,000 from the organisation.
