Early Life And Career
Irene Kim was reared in Seattle, Washington, after being born in Iowa to South Korean parents. Kim attended a Christian boarding school in South Korea after moving there with her family while she was in middle school. Kim attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York to study textile design. The Wonder Girls' song "So Hot" has a leopard print that Kim came up with while she was an intern at JYP Entertainment. Kim says her grandma gave her the sense of elegance.
In 2012, Kim debuted on the runway for Jardin de Chouette and SJYP. For J Koo, KYE, Youser, Supercomma B, and S=YZ, Kim strolled.
