Born on August 28, 1996, Kim Se-jeong, also going by her moniker Sejeong, is a singer-songwriter and actor from South Korea. She joined the project girl group I.O.I. after placing second in Mnet's girl group survival programme Produce 101. She was also a part of the female group Gugudan from Jellyfish Entertainment. She is most recognised for her starring parts in the television series School 2017 (2017), The Uncanny Counter (2020–2023), and Business Proposal (2022). She is presently working as a solo artist and actress.
Early Life And Career
On August 28, 1996, Kim Se-jeong was born in Gimje, North Jeolla Province. However, she later relocated to Anyang, Gyeonggi, where she resided at her aunt's home with her mother and elder brother. When she was a little child, her parents divorced, leaving her mother to raise her and her brother by herself. As she has said before, she didn't get in touch with her father until her third year of middle school. Prior to making her debut, Kim was a member of the theatre club in her high school and competed in track and field in elementary and middle school. Kim became a trainee after making it via Jellyfish Entertainment's 3,000-to-1 audition process. Kim is a student at Hanyang Women's University right now, studying practical music.
