On December 5, 1978, Patcharapa was born in Bangkok, Thailand. "Khaimuk Chaichua" was her birth name; it subsequently became "Patcharapa Chaichua." After winning the HACKS beauty and talent contest, she made her way into the entertainment scene in 1997.
Career
In 2003, Song Sanae Ha was the TV show that brought Aum Patchrapa to the public's attention. She was Pralee, the main character. The 2003 TOP Award for Best Leading Actress went to Aum. Chaichua made her film debut in Fake that same year.
In 2005, she was the recipient of her second TOP Award for Pleung Payu, which featured Tana Suttikamol. She has been Thailand's highest-paid actress ever since. In 2006, Aum Patchrapa was nominated for the Top Awards once more in the categories of Best Leading Actress for the lakorns Pin mook and Song Sanae. Ann Thongprasom won the prize for the lakorn Oum ruk, however. In addition to her acting prowess, Aum Patchrapa was named the sexiest woman by FHM (Thai edition) for three years running, from 2004 to 2006. However, May Pichanart defeated her in the 2007 edition.
